Yuu Sonoda is one of the main characters in the manga Sakura Trick (桜Trick), as well as it's anime adaptation which goes by the same name. Yuu is a cheerful girl with a tendency to act childish and even tsundere on occasions. Yuu has been Haruka's closest friend since junior high school.
Compared to Haruka, she is more reluctant to openly show her affection, often needing more convincing from Haruka when it comes to kissing. However, she still enjoys kisses with Haruka. As the series progresses along with their developing relationship, Yuu starts to initiate kisses more often.
